About us
A 501c3, Saddles & Smiles was created to provide equine assisted learning experiences for children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other neurological disorders. There is such a need for this service in our immediate area and in the Mid-Atlantic region. We provide education and support for the families of these children and young adults. Our services are free of charge to families and children.
With opportunities year round, kids have been coming to ride with us for many years. We host multiple horse camps each year to help support Saddles & Smiles, which provides many hours of fun learning activities for kids and families. Each dollar we raise goes straight to the care of the horses in our herd, adaptive equipment for our riders, and program support for these families.
